Mamattegwa, or Mattie, is a cria from the cross of Ambiance with NWA Limited Focus. Up until this pairing, Ambiance has always been bred to ElToro, with predictable results each time. Straight legged, well proportioned, conformationally sound, finely fleeced cria. This new breeding pair has not let us down. Mamattegwa was born quickly and without incident in early September 2008. Her fleece, as with many of Ambiance's cria, exhibits a peachy apricot on the tips and bright white or beige at the skin. Although Mattie is young, her fleece is bright, extremely dense and crimpy throughout her frame. NWA Ltd Focus consistently produces a high shear volume, we are thinking this youngster will show the same long dense staple.
