Sigwanain (Abenaqui for Survive) is a beautifully fleeced medium fawn out of July's April and MSA Peruvian Cannonero. He has an extremely fine, tightly crimped fleece that is densely packed across his compact frame. Sig, as we call him here, has won numerous awards for his fleece. Receiving high marks for fineness, handle, character (crimp), and brightness.
His lineage includes Peruvian Hemingway on both his dam and sire's side. His grand sires include Peruvian Pachacuti and PCA Spartacus and on his dam's side his granddam is NWA Ltd. Auntie, a Hemingway daughter. MSA Peruvian Cannonero boasts Peruvian Hemingway on both sides of his lineage as his Grandsire and Great-grandsire.
Disapointingly, due to non-life threatening birth defects, Sig is being offered as a high quality fiber male. If you are a hand spinner or want some amazing fiber on your farm, Sig may be a good addition to your herd. As a bonus, Sig is a super sweet and docile male. An easy keeper.
